The biggest challenge in this role will be the upcoming CLA. Negotiations will start in September and the preparation and communication about this process will take up a lot of time and effort of both the Expert Lead and (at least) one of the communications managers. The preparations have started months ago, so you will get on a moving train. You work independently, manage stakeholders and thrive on tight deadlines and juggling numerous responsibilities at the same time.

In addition to the CLA, you coach your team, create an environment in which your team members feel safe and can flourish. Furthermore, you are responsible for the order of business and prioritising within the team, for measuring and analysing the effects of communications and for continuously implementing improvements based on lessons learned.

HR Communication is part of People Services, therefore the Expert Lead reports to the Head of People Services NL. The working language is Dutch, but high level English is a must as you will communicate with international stakeholders and will have to deliver in English too.
