How do you cope with a blunt 'NO'?

How do you cope with a blunt 'NO'?

By continuing to ask questions. Not stopping at the first objection. Digging until you understand what is really going on. No usually means: 'not now', 'not like this', or simply: 'I don't see it yet'. And if you can bring that bottleneck to the surface together - and solve it - suddenly you have something great. A collaboration that makes you both happy. Doesn't work out? Then I hide under a blanket. With a tub of ice cream. And I seriously reconsider my career direction.
