"Woman smiles at teacup." "Man is happy with sandwich." Those kinds of stock photos make me particularly nervous. You can see there's no soul in it, just a poorly conceived plan. If I get such a briefing, I turn it around. I show the client why it's a bad idea and how it can be different. And if that doesn't work? Then I just secretly make it better anyway.
