As a Senior Communication Advisor for Pension Funds, you manage the communication for several pension funds and their members. You combine strategic advice with the practical delivery of communication projects. You work on issues that directly affect how members receive information and take action. You work within the Fund Communication Team at AZL. Together with communication professionals and pension specialists, you develop communication about current pension developments. This ranges from communication plans and campaigns to clear member information. You translate complex topics into clear, effective materials and advise pension funds on their communication strategy.

Working on social issues
You write about various topics within the pension system. This includes changes in pension schemes, sustainability, the financial position of pension funds, and new developments within the sector. Together with subject matter experts, you translate complex details into clear information. This helps members make the right choices.
You are part of a team of about twenty communication professionals. You work in smaller teams for various pension funds. You also guide colleagues and external partners when projects require this. In addition, you contribute to wider working groups and innovative communication initiatives.

Rate of €75-€85 per hour
Assignment from October 2026 to May 2027
We work in a hybrid way, with one set office day per week in Heerlen.
you are
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in communication or a similar field.
You have at least three years of experience as a communications adviser.

Within Team Fund Communication, you work with about twenty communication professionals. Together, we develop pension communication for various funds.
