How do you explain to residents that airplanes will soon be powered by sustainable fuel on an old industrial site? SkyNRG faced the challenge of clearly and convincingly presenting their plans for a new SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) factory to the local community. A project impacting the region, where support and trust are essential.

Together with SkyNRG's events and marketing team, we developed a clear communication approach for the informational event. The project video was central: a visual story bringing the plans to life. We guided residents step by step through the SAF production process, in an accessible and visual manner. In the video, employees from SkyNRG and the local energy company Skellefteå Kraft explain what exactly will happen, why it is important, and how the factory will contribute to a more sustainable aviation industry. The future factory was realistically portrayed by incorporating 3D renders of the design into existing drone footage of the site. The core messages from the video were also used in the venue itself, through banners and flyers. This created a coherent whole that was both informative and inviting.

With the SkyKraft project, SkyNRG was able to communicate clearly and transparently about the factory plans. Thanks to the video and associated communication tools, concerns were alleviated, and understanding and curiosity arose among the local population. A solid foundation to build together towards a sustainable future.
